The Center for Spine and Orthopedic’s own Michael E. Janssen recently attended ISSAS 2016. At this event, a paper he co-authored was presented and recognized with the Outstanding Paper Award, as well as a $10,000 grant!

ISSAS 2016 is a conference with a purpose to provide spine surgeons and other allied health professionals with updated information on new techniques in spinal surgery. This accredited conference discusses and addresses the issues involved with all aspects of basic and clinical science of motion preservation, stabilization, innovative technologies, MIS procedures, biologics and other fundamental topics to restore and improve motion and function of the spine. The conference took place in Las Vegas on April 6-April 8, 2016.
