Recent Physician-led Lecture Focuses on “Advancements in the Treatment of Rotator Cuff Tears”General orthopedic surgeon and shoulder specialist spoke on the “Advancements in the Treatment of Rotator Cuff Tears” during the Center for Spine and Orthopedics latest virtual Continuing Medical Education (CME) lecture on March 17. 

More than 60 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, and physical therapists logged on to listen to the lecture. “It was a nice review of anatomy, diagnostics and treatment options,” said Josh Krembs, DO, Sound Clinic. “The info was so useful that I will review it again via the Zoom recording.”

The lecture was the second offering this year in the Center for Spine and Orthopedics 2021 Virtual Spine and Orthopedic Educational Lecture Series for healthcare providers. Participants receive 1 CME credit for each hour they participate. The next lecture on April 21 will focus on “Opioid Dosing and Alternatives,” featuring Dr. Paul Leo and Jacque Carbone, AGACNP-BC. 

Education is a key part of the Center for Spine and Orthopedics’ mission. In addition to CME education for healthcare providers, physicians at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics also offer lectures for the general public on various spine and orthopedics conditions and treatments, including non-operative care.
