Just last week, Dr. Michael Janssen of the Center for Spine and Orthopedics presented as a faculty member for the Seattle Science Foundation’s Eighth Annual ONE Spine Residents and Fellows Course.

On the first day of the event, Dr. Janssen led a lecture focused on Spine Arthroplasty, which you may view in the video below. He also worked alongside Dr. Ehud Mendel at one of eight hands-on cadaver labs and exhibits, offering insight to posterior fixation techniques in thoracic spine both Friday and Saturday.

The ONE Spine Residents and Fellows Course is specifically designed for orthopedic fellows and senior neurosurgical residents who are going to practice spinal surgery, and covers the latest advances in complex spinal disorders. In bringing orthopedic and neurological surgeons together with rising neurosurgical residents and orthopedic fellows, the Seattle Science Foundation is able to facilitate the advancement of the art and science of modern spinal care.
