“To develop trust requires a conversation,” says Dr. Oscar Noel, a Denver-based orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Noel focuses on shared decision making with his patients. “If I fully convey to you what’s going on, then you can make decisions based on that.” Patients choose Dr. Noel because he’s honest and treats people conservatively for as long as possible. “If they don’t need surgery, I don’t offer them surgery,” says Dr. Noel. “I do what’s right for the patient.” Dr. Noel joined the Center for Spine and Orthopedics in September 2019 after completing a fellowship in sports medicine. Learn more about Dr. Noel, why he chose orthopedics and living in Denver and how he helps Coloradans live pain-free and improve their quality of life.
