The Center for Spine & Orthopedics requires that you bring all of the following items to your initial appointment so that we can best treat your condition or injury.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging
About MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to create images of organs and structures in the body. MRI can often provide different information about structures than can be seen with an x-ray.
MRI’s can often provide different information than other imaging tests.
ultrasound or computed tomography (CT) scan; it can also show problems that cannot be seen with other imaging tests.
MRI is used to diagnose bone and joint problems, such as arthritis, fractures, bone tumors, bone marrow problems, torn ligaments or tendons. It can also be used to check spinal discs and nerves for various conditions, including stenosis, bulging discs and spinal tumors.
