Centinel Study

Become a Participant in the Centinel Clinical Study

You may be eligible for Centinel Spine’s SMART Study if you have been diagnosed with 2-level SCDD and if you:

  • Are 18 to 69 years old
  • Have arm pain and/or neurological symptoms, such as numbness or weakness with or without neck pain

  • Have tried at least 6 weeks of nonsurgical care, such as physical therapy or medication, or have symptoms are getting progressively worse

  • Have not had a prior cervical TDR or fusion procedure

  • Are able and willing to complete the scheduled study related to follow-up visits

  • Are not receiving pain medication for conditions unrelated to your neck

Aspire Study

Become a Participant in the Aspire Research Study

If you are one of the millions of Americans that suffer from Degenerative Disc Disease and nonsurgical treatments, such as pain medical and physical therapy, fail to alleviate your symptoms, surgical options may be a path for relief. You may also be eligible to participate in a research study, such as the Aspire Clinical Study.

There are many factors that will affect whether a person can participate in Aspire’s study. Some of the criteria to participate include:

  • Between 22 and 75 years old at the time of starting the study
  • Have disc pain between L2 and S1 at a single level
  • Had pain for at least 6 months without relief from non-operative treatment
  • Experiencing leg pain
  • Not pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • Planned lumbar fusion at one level
