Chronic Pain Can Be Unbearable — Our goal is to relieve your pain and restore function

Treating Chronic Pain Through Physiatry at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics

Chronic pain can make life difficult or even unbearable at times. Our goal at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics is to relieve your pain and restore function so that you can return to work and the activities you enjoy most as quickly as possible. We recognize that up to 80 percent of the time, functional restoration can be achieved without surgery. That is why we usually recommend that patients begin with conservative treatment to manage their pain. Our physiatrists offer a variety of physical medicine and rehabilitation options, including ultrasound-guided injections, generative medicine, nerve block and acupuncture.

Non-Operative Techniques to Treat Chronic Pain

Non-operative physiatry techniques can be used to relieve chronic pain, including back, leg or arm pain associated with numerous conditions or diseases, including degenerative spine disease, herniated disk, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and knee osteoarthritis, among others.
