Virtual CME lecture on Diabetic NeuropathyDr. Eric Kuhlman and Dr. Paul Leo to Present a Virtual CME Lecture on ‘Diabetic Neuropathy’

Eric Kuhlman, DPM, and Paul Leo, MD, will present a virtual Continuing Medical Education (CME) lecture on “Diabetic Neuropathy: Causes, Symptoms and Treatment” on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 6-7:15 p.m. The lecture is part of the Center for Spine and Orthopedics’ (CSO) annual virtual CME series featuring various spine, orthopedic and pain management topics.

Latest Advances in Treating Painful Diabetic Neuropathy

Presenters will discuss some of the latest advances in treatment for Painful Diabetic Neuropathy (PDN), including two spinal cord stimulators that recently received FDA approval for this condition. “People with PDN know it to be a cruel addition to this chronic disease they must fight every day,” said Paul S. Leo, MD, an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. “Spinal cord stimulation for PDN offers a new FDA-approved option to alleviate this agonizing and persistent pain. There is no other therapy like this, and to offer it to patients here at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics is an absolute privilege. I believe this can make a real difference for my patients with PDN.”
